Monroe to Host State Ethics Training

The City of Monroe will host Ethics Training again this year, it will be free and open to the public.

Mayor Jamie Mayo and the Monroe City Council are pleased to join our Human Resources division to make the following announcement:

 

The City of Monroe will host Ethics Training again this year, it will be free and open to the public.

 

All public servants and elected officials are required to take one hour of training per calendar year on the Code of Governmental Ethics pursuant to LA R.S.42:1170A .  

 

Training will begin October 29, 2014 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and October 30, 2014 from 9:00-10:00 a.m.  at the MonroeCivic Center B.D. Robinson Conference Hall, 401 Lee Joyner, MonroeLA.

 

Mr. Brett Robinson, Attorney with the LA Board of Ethics, will be the facilitator.

 

All attendees must sign-in at the registration table. All attendees must bring their driver's license to be scanned for attendance record keeping purposes. If they do not bring their driver's license they must fill out an Attendance Record Form
