On Wednesday morning, Monroe Police responded to a reported robbery in the area of Thomas and Wilson St at approximately 5:00 AM.

The victim stated that he had been attacked by a subject known as Quinton Franklin, BM of Monroe, while at this location inside a vehicle, a 1997 Tan Chevy Tahoe.

The victim had a large amount of blood about his person and clothing and blood was noted inside the interior of the vehicle.  Investigators noted that the victim did not have injuries on his person that could account for the amount of blood on his person and in his vehicle.

The victim gave inconsistent statements about the facts related to the alleged robbery and his contact with Franklin

Monroe Police have made contact with Franklin’s family and girlfriend and none have seen Franklin since Wednesday when Franklin was last seen in the company of the alleged victim in this case.  There are very unusual circumstances and questions in this investigation making it imperative that Franklin be located to insure his safety and to investigate this case.
