MONROE -- Monroe Police are investigating a storage unit break-in.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Antra Mini Warehouses, on the 3100 block of Armand in Monroe.
Several officers responded to the call, which originally went out as multiple units that were broken into.
There were a total of 29 units that were broken into with the locks cut off of the doors.
Police say five of the units belong to the owners. The rest are spread out among 4 others businesses.
The owners of the complex whose units were broken into stated to police that they did not have anything of value in the units. The other owners of the units advised that there was nothing of value in their units and declined to come to the scene and check to see if there was anything missing.
Many renters of the units have been contacted but have not notified Monroe Police of any missing items which will assist in the investigation of this case. Monroe Police are urging any of the renters of this storage unit who are victims to please contact the Monroe Police Department at 329-2600 to further the investigation.
