The body of a missing Alabama woman has been found in Louisiana.
Deputies in Saint Tammany Parish discovered the body of 26-year-old Melinda Denny Thursday morning. She was found in a field near Madisonville, Louisiana.
Deputies say they last saw her with her boyfriend, 34-year-old Jonathan Nall on Saturday. Later on Saturday, police say Nall held a gun to his head at a gas station, leading to a stand-off.
After detaining him, the search began for his girlfriend. Authorities say Nall is cooperating in the investigation. Her cause of death has not been released.
