Mike Ross Files for Governor of Arkansas

Little Rock -- Mike Ross filed the necessary paperwork with the Secretary of State to officially become a Democratic candidate for governor of Arkansas.

“Today, we make our campaign official – a campaign focused on the future of Arkansas by fighting to help working families get ahead,” said Ross. “My positive vision for our state’s future includes strengthening education, cutting taxes for working families and small businesses, creating more good-paying jobs and keeping our state’s budget balanced. I want to use my experience of bringing people together to put good public policy over partisan politics every time and to find bipartisan, commonsense solutions to our problems. We don’t need a leader who will just be governor of the Republican Party or Democratic Party; we need a leader who will be governor for all of Arkansas and who will listen to everyone, even those who disagree with him – and that’s exactly the type of governor I will be.”
