Metairie Man Arrested for Distributing Child Pornography

A Metairie man has been arrested and charged with twelve counts of distributing, and ten counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles.
Metairie, LA — A Metairie man has been arrested and charged with twelve counts of distributing, and ten counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles, announced the Louisiana Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit.  

42-year-old Don Francis, Jr., of 3051 Apollo Drive, was arrested Wednesday as part of a joint investigation led by the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations and the San Diego Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Francis is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles.  He faces up to 20 years in prison on each count if convicted.  Francis was booked into Jefferson Parish Prison without incident.
