MONROE -- The woman accused of leaking a video showing Rep. Vance McAllister kissing a staffer, resigns from her position with as office manager for the Congressman.

McAllister's Chief of Staff Adam Terry says Leah Gordon put in her request to resign earlier this week.

Terry says the House Employment Counsel and an independent firm are conducting an investigation into the leak, at the request of Counsel.

Terry says "When this investigation started, we had no intention of taking any employee disciplinary action until we gathered all of the facts. Clearly, all of the facts are yet to surface and we will not comment further."

In previous reports, KTVE-KARD staff have been told only three people have access to the security footage at the 5th Congressional District Office in Monroe. Gordon, landlord Bill Land, and Land's employee Lance Hilton. Both Land and Hilton say they did not leak the video. Gordon has refused to comment on the situation.
