Local Authorities Capture Attempted Murder Suspect from Shreveport

A Shreveport man wanted for attempted murder has been arrested in Monroe.
SHREVEPORT (KTAL) -- A Shreveport man wanted for attempted murder has been arrested in Monroe.

On Saturday Keynon Frazier, 18, was taken into custody by Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies in a hotel parking lot.

Frazier was identified as one of the men involved in a shooting Nov. 25 at a house in the 5400 block of Asbury Lane.

Investigators say the shooting occurred during a robbery involving drugs.  

An arrest warrant was obtained charging Frazier with attempted first-degree murder and bond on the warrant has been set at $300,000.

Frazier is awaiting transfer back to Caddo Parish.

Meanwhile, Ricky Blomgren and Vincent Efferson were both injured in the shooting and have also been arrested on related charges.
