Gas Prices Spike in Arkansas

Gas prices, as drivers are quickly noticing, are on the rise and they could stay that way for a while.
Little Rock -- (KARK) Gas prices, as drivers are quickly noticing, are on the rise and they could stay that way for a while.

The national average price for regular unleaded gas is $3.41 per gallon.

Gas prices have ticked up twelve cents in two weeks.

AAA said prices will go up as refineries begin to use blends of gas used for summer driving. That mix is more expensive to produce.

The cost to filling up is making folks rethink the places they have to go.

"I go to work and go home. I don't do anything on the weekends. That's it. Because of gas prices, you can't afford to drive anywhere," said Patrick Eason.

Gas prices are above three dollars in all 50 states now.
