Louisiana Probation and Parole agents along with agents of the Union Parish sheriff’s Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs arrested a Downsville resident Friday on drug charges.
Probation and Parole went to the residence to check on a parolee at 103 Dawn Drive near Downsville. The agents were told that the parolee was not at home. A search of the residence turned up suspected drug paraphernalia and some cocaine residue.
Mariah Holmes, 18, who was at the address told agents the items belonged to her. She was booked into the parish detention center on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine.
No bond had been set Friday.
