Louisiana Delta Community College is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bill Tulak as the Dean of Industrial and Process Science Technologies.

Press Release -- Louisiana Delta Community College is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bill Tulak as the Dean of Industrial and Process Science Technologies. “Louisiana Delta Community College wanted to take a bold step that would send a message and highlight the importance of technical education to the economic growth and well-being  of  Northeast Louisiana, so we created this brand new position to focus on just that”, stated Chancellor Hanson.

The emphasis of responsibilities for this new position will include planning, developing, leading and evaluating course offerings, and expanding professional technical offerings throughout the College’s service area.

Tulak, who began work on Monday, August 4, 2014, says he is excited to begin work because he believes the Louisiana Delta Community College is uniquely set to impact growing and important industries.

“A trained work force is essential to the region’s economy. The technical programs at Louisiana Delta Community College can provide the training needed to attract business and industry to the region,” Tulak said.

There is an ever widening gap between our growing labor market demands and the number of skilled workers in the pipeline. Louisiana Delta Community College is uniquely positioned to help close this gap.

“We believe that Tulak can make a significant difference for Northeast Louisiana as he’s spent nearly his entire career working to help boost the technical and industrial workforce education-he’s the right person and the right time”, Hanson said.
