Cotton Senate Campaign Raises $1.35 Million During 1st Quarter; Outraises Pryor

U.S. Senate candidate Tom Cotton announced today that his campaign has raised $1,357,263 during the first quarter fundraising period from January 1st through March 31st.
Little Rock -- U.S. Senate candidate Tom Cotton announced today that his campaign has raised $1,357,263 during the first quarter fundraising period from January 1st through March 31st.

Cotton will report having raised a total of $4,823,916 during the 2014 election cycle.

Tom Cotton also issued the following statement about his fundraising numbers: "I am incredibly humbled by the outpouring of support from Arkansans from every corner of our state. Last week I announced our campaign's 75-county grassroots effort, and our fundraising success will only bolster our momentum going forward. Arkansans are ready for a Senator who will put our interests before President Obama’s partisan agenda."

Cotton's opponent, Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor reported raising $1.22 million in the first three months of the year.

Pryor ended the quarter with more than $4.4 million in the bank, compared with $2.7 million Cotton had on hand.
