Cotton Campaign Bringing Jo Dee Messina to El Dorado

El Dorado -- Congressman Tom Cotton's campaign for U.S. Senate is putting on a country music concert tonight in El Dorado.

The concert will feature Jo Dee Messina at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Elm and North Jefferson Streets.

“It’s exciting to welcome country music star Jo Dee Messina to Arkansas on behalf of my campaign,” Cotton said. “We’re looking forward to putting on a free concert for the people of Arkansas, and I’m thankful to Jo Dee Messina for helping us get our message out that it’s time to take our country in a new, conservative direction.”

Messina is best known for her Top 10 hit “Heads Carolina, Tails California” and her three No. 1 hit singles on the Billboard Country Chart from her second album I’m Alright: “Bye, Bye”; “I’m Alright”; and “Stand Beside Me.”

Prior to the concert, there will be a 4:30 p.m. fundraising reception with Jo Dee Messina at The Granite Club, 510 E. Faulkner. Individuals can host the fundraising reception with a $1,000 contribution or sponsor the event with a $500 contribution. Donors will be able to attend the private reception with Jo Dee Messina and Tom Cotton and will receive VIP seating at the concert event.
