Black History Celebration Preview

Interview with Berna Jones
MONROE, LA -- The SCIA (Southside Community Involvement Association) and
Monroe's Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, will host a unique Artistic
& Educational Evening Celebrating Black History Month.

This Special Evening, Thursday February 6th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM,
will be at the Emily P. Robinson Center, 3504 Jackson Street.

The Program's Theme is:
" Young, Gifted & Black.....Still On The Move! "

A variety of Excellent presentations (Music,Vocal, Dance &
Drama) will be performed by award winning students from 10
schools in Ouachita, Richland & Morehouse Parishes.

The Evening's Entertainment will end with an amazing vocal
performance of " Lift Every Voice & Sing ".  Refreshments will
conclude this outstanding evening remembering Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. and commemorating Black History Month.
