CASA, CAC Unite Under LouisianaChildren.org

The Louisiana Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) announced that are partnering to create a new statewide umbrella association called LouisianaChildren.org.
West Monroe -- The Louisiana Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) announced that are partnering to create a new statewide umbrella association called LouisianaChildren.org.

According to a statement released by the new association, this move will allow advocates to better serve their 33 member programs across all 64 parishes and provide assistance to

Executive Director Dr. John Wyble stated, “LouisianaChildren.org offers every Louisiana citizen an opportunity to get involved in supporting vulnerable families in their community. Whether it be through volunteering with CASA or attending a CAC training, there are opportunities at all levels for Louisianians to speak up for children.”

The new partnership will allow the agencies to operate more efficiently and allow them to pool resources for their community work. Together, both programs serve more than 9,000 children and 25,000 families and professionals every year.
