CALDWELL PARISH -- Caldwell Sheriff's Deputies have made the largest meth bust ever in the parish.
Deputies say a half-pound of meth was seized after a traffic stop Saturday on Highway 846 at Eason Road.
The driver of the truck, 45-year old Carmen Hutto and 24-year old Amber Malcomb of Grayson are charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute meth.
Deputies say the street value of the meth was over $20,000.
It's believed the meth came from out of state and was goping to be cut and sold out of Hutto's home on Thompson Drive.
Monroe's Levee District Police assisted in the investigation.
Additional charges against Hutto and Malcomb are possible and more arrests are expected in the case.
