The Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education will be visiting schools in north Louisiana today and Tuesday.
Ouachita/Jackson Parish --  Members of the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) will be conducting a tour of eight Ouachita and Jackson Parish schools Monday, October 28, and Tuesday, October 29, 2013.

BESE President Chas Roemer and Board members Connie Bradford and Jay Guillot are scheduled to visit Lincoln Elementary School, Ouachita Parish High School and Neville High School in Monroe, Riverbend Elementary School and Pinecrest Elementary/Middle School in West Monroe, Jonesboro-Hodge High School and Weston High School in Jonesboro and Quitman High School in Quitman. These schools experienced significant growth in student achievement or have earned Top Gains status.
