BATON ROUGE, La. (WDSU) -- Baton Rouge police arrested a former reality TV contestant after she crashed while intoxicated.

Police say 34-year-old Jessica Kiper of Los Angeles was traveling eastbound on Government Street at about 1:27 a.m. Saturday when she crashed into the back of a stopped vehicle.

Kiper displayed signs of impairment and was offered two separate breath tests, but she failed to provide a proper sample on each test, according to police.

She was arrested on charges of DWI, failure to maintain control and reckless operation.

Kiper placed third on "Survivor: Gabon" in 2008 before returning to participate in "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains," which was filmed in 2009 and aired in 2010.
