West Monroe -- In a poll released this week, Governor Bobby Jindal's approval rating is sitting pretty low.
Public Policy Polling surveyed 635 Louisiana voters earlier this month.
35 percent approve of Jindal's job performance, while 53 percent disapprove.

The same poll shows Senator David Vitter well out in front for the 2015 Governor's race.
Vitter leads in hypothetical matchups with Democrats State Representative John Bel Edwards and New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu. He also leads against fellow Republican Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne.

And when it comes to marijuana use, voters are not in favor of legalizing it for recreational use, but of those surveyed, 60 percent said they'd support it for medical use.
