Former AR State Treasurer Found Guilty

Little Rock -- (KARK) Former Arkansas State Treasurer Martha Shoffner has been found guilty on all 14 counts.

The federal judge instructed the jury to return a verdict for each one of the 14 separate charges listed in the indictment.

Those charges include:

Six counts of extortion for taking money from a broker in return for bond trading business with the state.

One count of attempted extortion for taking FBI money when that broker started cooperating with the FBI.

Seven counts of bribery.
