E-cigarettes bill approved, support for Cassidy and Jindal jumps in the poll.
West Monroe -- A bill that would make it illegal to sell electronic cigarettes or other alternative nicotine products to minors in the state is headed to Governor.
The Senate approved the changes made in the House on the bill.
The bill was authored by Lincoln Parish Senator Rick Gallot.

Congressman Bill Cassidy seems to be getting the backing of the national Republican Party in his bid to unseat Senator Mary Landrieu.
GOP Victory Fund 2014 was created by the National Republican Senatorial Committee to help Cassidy and other candidates across the country.
Paul Hollis and Rob Maness are the other two Republicans looking to defeat Landrieu in the fall.

And Governor Bobby approval rating is growing according to a new poll.
The Southern Media & Opinion Research Inc. poll released this week, shows that 48 percent of Louisiana voters approve of the job Jindal is doing.
That's up 11 percent from one year ago.
