WEST MONROE -- In this week's Creed & Creed Political Minute, t's all about the money and a candidate for Senate is planning a town hall meeting this Saturday in Monroe.

Senator Mary Landrieu's re-election campaign says they've raised over $2.1 million in the second quarter of 2014 and have over $6.2 million cash on hand.

Her Republican rival, Congressman Bill Cassidy's campaign for Senate says he's raised over $1.6 million and has $5.8 million cash on hand.

Rep. Tom Cotton's senatorial campaign got a boost over opponent Sen. Mark Pryor in the second quarter.

The Cotton campaign announced that it raised $2.2 million. Pryor's campaign announced it raised $1.5 million in the quarter.

Rob Maness, a Republican candidate for Senate, is holding a town hall meeting this Saturday in West Monroe.

This is part of Maness' 'Solutions For Us' town hall meetings he's held across the state. Maness, along with Cassidy, is challenging Senator Landrieu in November.

The town hall will be at 10 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in West Monroe.
