No Dunking, Jimmy Graham; NFL to Penalize Goal Dunking Celebration

NFL -- (WDUS/NFL) Saints tight end Jimmy Graham will have to find a new way to celebrate his many touchdowns for next season.

According to NFL head of officiating Dean Blandino, the goal post dunk will be banned starting with the 2014 football season.

Blandino made the statement on “The Dan Patrick Show.”

The dunk isn’t just celebrated by Graham, but he made headlines last season when he dunked the goal post in Atlanta in Week 12 and bent the post. The damage to the post caused a short delay in the game.

Graham responded to the NFL considering the ban with a big “NOOOO!” on Twitter.
