"They know that you're going to buy, you have to buy. So, you're subject to whatever they put in front of you," said Brent Shelton of FatWallet.com
And, if you've purchased from online florists before, expect a bunch of reminders this weekend about deals still to be had.
"They will be sending you reminders and they will be sending you promotional codes and offers that you can use," RetailMeNot.com's Trae Bodge said.
A National Retail Federation poll of over 6,000 consumers found most will spend on average$134 for Valentine's day.
Others say it'll be more if you don't do things like what fatwallet.com calls 'stacking discount'
"So, you'll see a discount like 20% off and then you should look to see if that retailer is offering cash back or free shipping," Shelton said.
It may be too late for free shipping in fact, expect an expedited fee if you want delivery on valentine's day or avoid shipping worries altogether by shopping local.
"Sites like Groupon, Amazon local, Living Social are competing in the online space and they're bringing you the local deals," said Shelton.
Also, consider having the bouquet delivered the day before or even the day after when everything will be discounted.
