Rayville Voters Decide on Three Town Aldermen

RICHLAND PARISH -- In Rayville, six people were vying for three town alderman seats for the May 3rd election.

It was a close race on Saturday night, but Jay Brakefield and Paula Cupton with 19 percent, and Debra James with 17 percent win the seats as the new additions to the town council.

The others running in the race finished off as follows:

William Copeland - 16 percent (282)

Norman Wilson - 16 percent (278)

Terry "Coach" Brown - 14 percent (243)
