Veterans and military supports young and old crowded into the dinning room of the veterans home for the event, which featured speeches from state officials and a presentations from the Richwood High School JROCT.
One of the presentations included the POW/MIA table. This is done to observe all fallen, missing or imprisoned military members.
The Richwood JROCT say they are honored to have been a part of the program. Connie Commenia, a veteran with the high school, says,"It was a lot of hardship for them and their families you know to go out and not have the rigth equipment and whatever they needed to fight the war in but they did it for the love of their country. "
The program concluded with lunch being served by the First Assembly Church. Visitors also had the chance to spend some time meeting and speaking with the veterans about the great things they did for the country.
