Manning Wins 5th MVP Award

New York City -- As expected, there wasn’t much drama when it came to the winner of the 2013 Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player Award.

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has garnered MVP honors from the AP, the media organization and the NFL announced Saturday night.

For Manning, it’s an NFL-record fifth time he has captured the AP MVP award.

According to the AP, Manning received 49-of-50 votes for MVP, with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady getting the lone non-Manning vote.

Manning also garnered 2013 Offensive Player of the Year honors from the AP.
