Large Turnout for Monroe Health Fair

The Northeast Human Services Authority organized a health fair Saturday.The fair was held in Forsyth Park as a way to get more information to folks on staying healthy while enjoying some outdoor activities.

Families exercised with their favorite TV characters in a lively zumba class. A petting zoo provided animal therapy and bounce houses were set up to keep kids up and moving.

One boy says he is happy his mom brought him out.

Alex Avier says,"I didn't want to come because I thought it was gonna be like boring, but my momma made me come. Then when I came there was like a lot of jumping and I was like wow! This is gonna be awesome!"

The boy's mother says it was important for her son to come to the event since he is living with A.D.H.D.
