Hurricane Katrina: 8 Years Later

This 2013 Atlantic Hurricane season will mark eight years since Katrina made land falll in southern Plaquemines Parish, as a category three hurricane. All three members of the KTVE weather team have different account this historic storm's impact.
Nearly 18-hundred people died across the gulf coast states and an estimated 125 billion dollars of damage was left in Katrina's wake.
Today, these areas continue rebuilding...bringing their towns back to life.
They are also preparing and bracing for the next big storm.
