(KARK) -- The Bret Bielema era got off to a strong start Saturday with a 34-14 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette in Fayetteville.

A balanced offensive approach resulted in more than 30 points and two running backs with more than 100 yards. Both sophomore Jonathan Williams and freshman Alex Collins went over the century mark. Collins is the first freshman to debut with a 100-yard game since current NFL star Felix Jones.

It was also a solid day for quarterback Brandon Allen in his first appearance as the new Razorbacks starting quarterback. Allen passed for more than 200 yards on the day.
