Several shot & killed at shooting that ended at an elementary school

Sheriff: At least three dead, including the shooter

TEHAMA COUNTY, Ca.- - (11/14/2017) Deputies in Tehama County, California are investigating a mass shooting at least five scenes that ended at an elementary school. According to the NBC station in Chico, CA,  investigators say the shooting started at one location and moved to the Rancho Tehema Elementary School. 

While updating the media, Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston with the Tehama County Sheriff's Office became understandably emotional about a "very sad day for us in Tehama County".

According to NBC News, The sheriff says the shooter was killed by law enforcement and there are at least five crime scenes.

According to KRCR-TV, witnesses say shots came through the classroom windows, and one of the victims was a young boy, shot in the chest and foot. Witnesses also say their were two shooters, but investigators have not corroborated that information. 

Parents and the media were being held away from the scene on a road leading to the school.
