From National Nutrition Month in March, to gearing up for swimsuit season, living a healthy lifestyle is top of mind right now and extends far beyond New Year’s resolutions. While making healthy lifestyle choices should be a way of life, many people have the misconception that means food deprivation and sacrificing taste for fewer calories.
Consumer research confirms that taste tops nutrition as the main reason why one food is purchased over another. The theme of this year’s National Nutrition Month is "Enjoy the Taste of Eating Right" and helps dispel the myth that healthy eating means cutting out flavor.
