Woman poses as student, steals diploma at LSU graduation

BATON ROUGE, La. - A Lafayette woman is facing criminal charges after posing as a LSU student and stealing another students diploma.

According to LSU Police, the department received a complaint on December 19, 2017 from the LSU University Registrar's Office. The complaint stated that Bianca White, of Lafayette, inserted herself into the December graduation procession on December 15, 2017.

Officials say White participated in the entire graduation ceremony. She also successfully took a purple diploma cover and a graduation diploma that belonged to another student.
