What happened to Brad Allen? The search continues six months later

HAMBURG, Ark. - (1/24/2018)

Hope.

It's all this family has to hang on to.

Hoping their son, their brother, their uncle, 38-year-old Brad Allen will come home.

However, as the days go by, another feeling is sinking in.

"Hurt," his sister, Angie Clavet

After six months of looking, the journey to find him is only getting harder.

The family says after Brad and his girlfriend had an argument.

Then on July 18, 2017  he walked out of this home and down a road, near their home, at 3 a.m. and never came back.

"I'm still going on the fact that he's alive," Ashley County Sheriff, Tommy Sturgeon, said.

"So far everything's went to a dead end," his father, Wayne Allen, said.

"I don't see it happening people don't just vanish," Clavet said.

For them the toughest part is wondering.

"If we knew dead or alive we could get through it and go on," Wayne Allen said.

Allen disappeared  without a trace with no leads for police

"I've been a police officer for 32 years and it doesn't happen very often and unfortunately this is one of the worst ones because we're not getting any information," Ashley County Sheriff, Tommy Sturgeon, said.

Now they hope someone somewhere can help them find Brad--so they can have the closure they desperately need.

" [I] go to bed at night thinking about him and I wake up in the morning thinking about him," Clavet said.

If Brad is out there's a message to him from his family.

"We love him he knows we do just come home if he's out there," Lynda Allen said.

"I love him always have always will," Clavet said.

If anyone has any has seen or has any information that can help find Brad Allen, please contact Detective Tad Huntsman of the Ashley County Sheriff's Office at 870-853-2040.
