Glenwood CEO introduced to West Monroe community

Jeremy Tinnerello named Chief Executive Officer

WEST MONROE, La. - UPDATE (7/19/17): The new CEO of Glenwood Medical Center officially met the community of West Monroe Wednesday (July 19, 2017) afternoon.

Jeremy Tinnerello was announced as the new CEO on May 16, 2017.

Tinnerello has worked many jobs at Glenwood. He started as an orderly in 1993, and once he finished his nursing degree at Louisiana Tech University, Tinnerello continued to climb up the leadership ladder.

Local businesses and the community took the liberty of getting to know Tinnerello over a luncheon at the West Monroe Convention Center.

From orderly to CEO. Jeremy Tinnerello is the new leader at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. The hospital made the announcement Monday in a press release sent to NBC 10.

Tinnerello has worked many jobs at Glenwood. He started as an orderly in 1993, and once he finished his nursing degree at Louisiana Tech University, Tinnerello continued to climb up the leadership ladder.

 

Below is the full text from Glenwood Regional Medical Center on Tinnerello's appointment:

"On Monday, May 16, 2017, Jeremy Tinnerello was named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for IASIS Glenwood Regional Medical Center. Tinnerello has been a long standingmember of the Glenwood Regional Medical Center administrative team serving as Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Tinnerello is a native of West Monroe and began his career at Glenwood over twenty years ago. His extensive background in healthcare began in 1993 when he was first employed by Glenwood as an orderly. Upon completion of his nursing degree at Louisiana Tech University, he continued his career as a nurse in the Emergency Department for 15 years and served as director of Glenwood’s Disaster Management Program for Hurricane Katrina and its recovery. Following his tenure in the Emergency Department, Tinnerello took over directorship of multiple departments within the facility before completing Master Degrees in Nursing and Health Administration in 2014. He presently serves on the Board of Directors for the West Monroe/West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute, United Way of Northeast Louisiana, and several other organizations in Northeast Louisiana. He has continued to serve on multiple advisory boards including Louisiana Tech University’s Nursing Program and the University of Louisiana – Monroe Health Sciences program. Jeremy and his wife Nikki have been members of the West Monroe community for over thirtyyears. The Tinnerellos are the proud parents of two children."
