West Monroe man arrested after allegedly threatening girlfriend with machete

West Monroe, La. - Ouachita Parish is holding a West Monroe man in custody after his girlfriend claimed he threatened her with a machete.
62-year-old Louise Monroe Foy is being held without bond.
He is charged with domestic abuse, aggravated assault.
Deputies say Foy's girlfriend told them he grabbed both her arms, threw her on bed and then punched her in the 
face.
The victim also told deputies Foy grabbed a machete, held it to the back of her neck, and threatened to kill her.
According to the arrest reports, the victim's mouth was bleeding and swollen.
It also says Foy claimed to be asleep and had no idea why deputies came to his house.
