Monroe, La.-- - Monroe Fire officials are investigating a fire that damaged two school buses Monday night.
Authorities said they got a call around 5 p.m. about a fire at the Head Start School on Jackson Street.
We're told two of the schools buses were parked when they got fired.
The bus was unoccupied and no one was injured.
"It was reported that there was a fire behind the head start and these buses were involved," District Chief for the Monroe Police Department Randy Jack said. "There were at least two busses with extensive damage. No injuries. We have an investigator in route to determine the cause."
It's unclear whether or not the fire will cause issues with children getting to and from this head start Tuesday.
