MONROE, La. - A Monroe woman and man have been arrested on multiple charges after a trooper found marijuana on the woman's 10-year-old daughter during a traffic stop.
According to the arrest report, a trooper observed a white Tahoe traveling southbound on La 15.
The driver and 2 passengers were not wearing seat belts, and the driver’s side window appeared to be darker than it should be.
A traffic stop was initiated where the trooper made contact with the driver, Claire A. Jones, 36, of Monroe. The trooper smelled marijuana and asked Jones to step out of the vehicle.
