MONROE, La. - (1/25/2018) According to our news content partners at the News-Star, while front-line workers at the company are seeing cuts to raises and bonuses, top executives at the Monroe based company are getting millions in merger bonuses and incentives.

Those bonuses for high-level executives is due to the merger between CenturyLink and Level 3 Communications that closed in November.

Meanwhile, almost two months later on January 11, CEO Glenn F. Post III told employees in an email that CenturyLink would not be awarding merit based increases for employees in 2017 because the company could not pay for them. Christmas bonuses were also nixed for some employees in December.
