PINE BLUFF, Ar. (KARK) - On April 22, 2018 at about 8:50 P.M., Officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department were dispatched to 26th and Indiana for gunshots in the area.
One of the Officers stopped a car with emergency flashers on leaving that area.
The driver, 28 year old Patrick Lambert, immediately stopped and informed the Officers that one of the passengers had need shot.
The victim is a 15 year old male.
He had a single gunshot wound to the head.
His name will not be released due to age.
EASI ambulance arrived and transported the male to Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was stabilized then transported by ambulance to Arkansas Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Another female in the car was struck by debris. Her injury was minor.
Mr. Lambert said he stopped at the stop sign at 26th and Indiana when a grey car stopped in front of his vehicle and began shooting.
There is no known motive for the shooting at this time.
