Suspect arrested in local transgender murder case

MONROE, La.-- - A suspect has been captured in the murder case of a local transgender woman.

Malcom Harvey is now behind bars and is being charged with second degree murder, after allegedly shooting 18 year old Jacquarrius Holland in the head.

It happened at the 3 thousand block of Grammont Street in Monroe. 

Ouachita Parish Sheriff's deputies made the arrest roughly one month after Holland was killed by a single gun shot wound, during an altercation with the suspect.

No word yet on bond.
