MONROE, La. - A Monroe woman has been arrested after threatening to kill the children in a neighborhood. She also threatened to burn a woman's house down.
Tashonda Blakely, 30 of Monroe, was arrested on September 20, 2017.
According to the arrest report, Deputies responded to a complaint about a woman without any clothes on.
A witness told deputies they observed Blakely in the roadway not wearing any clothing. The witness also said they saw Blakely try to enter another subject’s car and fell onto the ground.
The witness also said they saw Blakely confront the victim and advise her she was going to kill her by burning down her residence and kill all the children in the neighborhood.
Deputies also spoke with the victim who said Blakely was threatening to kill all of the children in the neighborhood and made verbal threats to burn her house down with her inside.
Once deputies located Blakely, she told them she had been consuming alcohol inside her yard when a male subject threw her onto the ground injuring her chin.
Blakely denied making the threats in reference to burning down anyone’s residence.
She also denied attempting to enter a vehicle and was dressed all afternoon.
Blakely was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on one count of communicating false information of planned arson.
Her bond has not yet been set as of 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017.
