Is your house or yard full of junk that the garbage trucks won't take? Tomorrow's your day to get rid of it! Ouachita Green will be taking tires, scrap metal, batteries, and all the stuff that you can't put in a landfill, or a creek.
From 9am to 1pm at the Monroe Civic Center, you can even shred documents to protect yourself from identity theft.
"We had our household hazards waste event turnout around close to 650 participants which is a record for us and the previous year we had close to 550. So we're about a hundred over than we were last year and each year it grows to about a hundred," says Ouachita Green Coordinator Stuart Hodentt.
Items that are prohibited from tomorrows event are glass, chemicals, pesticides, paint fire extinguishers, and more.
