Neville High named Louisiana's most beautiful public high school

MONROE, La. - According to our partners at The News-Star, Neville High School has been named the most beautiful public high school in Louisiana by Architectural Digest.

Architectural Digest recently chose one public high school from all 50 states.

Neville High School, which is part of the Monroe City School District, was chosen to represent Louisiana.

The school is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has undergone a $7.5 million renovation to preserve the 86-year old building.  The renovation was completed this year.

The renovation was a joint venture between Douglas C. "Doug" Breckenridge and  Architecture Associates. This was Breckenridge's biggest restoration project to date and is perhaps the largest historic restoration project completed in northern Louisiana.
