Murphy Arts District hosts concerts featuring Train and Natasha Bedingfield

El Dorado, Ar.-- - Crowds packed for the first day of concerts at El Dorado's new Murphy Arts District.

Train and Natasha Bedingfield took the stage Thursday night.

"I love Train and Natasha Bedingfield and they're here together and that's awesome," concertgoer Kelly Price said.

Fans told us they came from all across the country, including Tennessee and Wisconsin, just to be a part of the festivities.

"I'm from Nashville, Tenn. and Train is here so I'm here," Train superfan Emerald Gwinner said. "I've never seen him in Arkansas before and I need to check that state off my list... I've seen him about 70 times."

We talked to natives of El Dorado who said they're excited for the growth this district will bring to the area.

"I think it's gonna be a real big deal for El Dorado," resident and concertgoer Rick Williams said. "I'm glad to be a part of it."

All in all, everyone wanting to make memories and have a good time at the Murphy Arts District in El Dorado.

"Gee I've got some time tonight, I wonder what's going on in El Dorado, not what they're doing in Shreveport, not what they're doing in Baton Rouge," MAD CEO Terry Stewart said.
