UPDATE: No evidence to support theory circulating on social media; search continues

CLAIBORNE PARISH, La. - UPDATE (4/20/18): The investigation into the disappearance of Rondreiz "Junior" Phillips continues with Claiborne Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana State Police, and FBI agents working diligently to follow up on all leads at this time. 

The Claiborne Parish Sheriff's Office has been made aware of what was posted earlier today by Ruston News & Views, but have no evidence at this time supporting that theory. 

The reward for information pertaining to the recovery has been increased to $10,000.

UPDATE (4/18/18): A Claiborne Parish businessman has added an additional $5000 to the reward being offered from the FBI for information regarding the case of Rondreiz "Junior" Phillips.

This makes the total reward $10,000.

UPDATE (4/18/18): The search for Rondreiz "Junior" Phillips continues with ponds in the area being drained as well as investigative teams following up on any and all leads.

The Claiborne Parish Sheriff's Office says they cannot release every detail and avenue being taken in the search to the public, but would like everyone to know they are still avidly searching.

UPDATE (4/16/18): Officials are drawing down a pond in hopes of finding a boy who's been missing for nearly two weeks.

They are draining the pond south of highway 152 in Claiborne Parish.

Rondreiz "Junior" Phillips, 4, has been missing since April 5, 2018.

Rescue searches for the boy are still ongoing.

Sources that are close with the family tell us officials aren't letting search parties near the drained pond.

There is still an award of $5,000 being offered for any information leading to the location of Rondreiz.

UPDATE (4/12/18 AT 4:00 P.M.): A reward is being offered for any information leading to the location of a missing 4-year-old boy in Claiborne Parish.

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the location of Rondreiz "Junior" Phillips.

Also happening tonight, community members are coming together to hold a vigil for Rondreiz Phillips who has been missing since April 5, 2018.

The public search for the boy was called off on Sunday, April 8th, but community members aren’t giving up hope to find little Rondreiz.

The vigil is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Sharon Baptist Church.

Everyone is asked to be at the church at 6:00 p.m.

UPDATE (4/10/18): The FBI is involved in the search for a missing 4-year-old in Claiborne Parish.

Rondreiz Phillips was last seen around 11:30 Thursday morning. Over the weekend, the public search for the child was called off.

In post on the Claiborne Parish Sheriff's Office (CPSO) stated "Rondreiz "Junior" Phillips still has not been located. Detectives with CPSO, LSP, and the FBI are diligently investigating this situation however no information regarding the investigation can be made public".

ORIGINAL STORY (4/5/18): 

The Louisiana State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Media Advisory on behalf of the Claiborne Parish Sheriff’s Office for a child reported missing Thursday, April 5, 2018.

The child, Rondreiz Cortez “Junior” Phillips is a 4-year-old black male child with black hair and brown eyes.  He is approximately 3’ tall and weighs about 45 pounds.  Rondreiz was last seen at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Howard Road, Lisbon, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black and yellow rubber boots.

Anyone having any information as to the whereabouts of Rondreiz Cortez “Junior” Phillips should immediately contact the Claiborne Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-927-2011, 800-810-2011or 911 or Sgt.
