Jonesville man accused of shooting his wife in the neck

CATAHOULA PARISH, La. - (4/24/2018) The Catahoula Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted murder. Now, a Jonesville man is in jail, charged with trying to kill his wife.

Detectives tell NBC 10 that they were called to Sixth Street in Jonesville Sunday evening, and when they arrived, they found the victim, Angela Duncan, with a gunshot wound to her neck. She was taken to the Rapides Regional Medical Center, and she is still in the ICU.

During their investigation, Deputies say the victim and her husband, 49-year-old Scott Duncan, got into an argument. At some point, she was shot in the neck area.

Scott Duncan is charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, and he is in the Catahoula Parish Jail with a $100,000 bond.

On April 22, 2018 The Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s office responded to a Shooting on Sixth Street in Jonesville when Deputies arrived on scene they found the victim Angela Duncan with a gunshot wound to the neck area. The victim was transported to the Rapides Reginald Medical Center where she remains in ICU 
  During the investigation Detectives found out that the victim and the suspect Scott Duncan 49 years of age, who are married were involved in a verbal dispute when the shooting took place. The suspect was detained on scene and later on Sunday evening he was arrested and charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder. He was booked into the Catahoula Parish jail and remains there on a $100,000 bond set by Judge Kathy Johnson on Monday April 23, 2018.
