BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY) - Alfred Angelo abruptly closed last summer, leaving brides and bridal parties stuck. The closure was so swift, customers at the Towne Center location showed up to find the doors locked in July 2017.
Freaked customers rushed to the store as news spread – the store gave some people until 8 o'clock one night to get their dresses.
After it closed, the company left behind seven hundred dresses at the Baton Rouge location. Untouched for months, mall managers finally got possession of the store to lease it to a new tenant. Now, they said, they are trying to get rid of the dresses left behind and help anyone who may have been hurt with the closure last year.
March 9th and 10th from nine a.m. to 3 p.m., the store will be open and dresses will be on sale. Wedding dresses are priced at $300; bridesmaid dresses are at $100, according to a social media post about the upcoming sale.
Sizes range from two to 26.
