Ruston, La.-- - Downtown Ruston is now home to a new piece of artwork for the city to enjoy and see.
After months of painting the historic 'Ruston' sign is officially completed.
It's one of three murals to pay homage to Ruston's blind community.
If you take a close look at the art, it has hidden symbols like hearts.
"We think it's been a great showcase for our local artists and just adds a lot visually to the downtown area as people come down 167," President of Ruston's Visitor Bureau Travis Napper said.
A second mural will be completed next to the Louisiana Center for the blind.
A third mural will be visible from the highway.
