Fireball Cinnamon Whisky covers interstate in Arkansas

KERR, Ark. (KARK) - An accident involving two tractor trailer trucks has shutdown a stretch of Interstate 40 in Arkansas.

It happened in the westbound lanes near Kerr around 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

About an hour later, the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) posted photos on Twitter that showed a large amount of Fireball cinnamon whisky bottles and other liquor bottles were strewn across the accident scene.

ARDOT's post said one of the trucks caught fire and stated "Looks like we’ll be working this for a while."

As of 1 p.m., traffic was being routed off the interstate to Hwy. 70.

Injuries in the crash have been described as non life-threatening.
